  • 1 cup chopped chocolate
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 4 eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cups flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F or 180 ºC. Sieve the flour, mix with the salt and baking powder, set aside. Line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper, leaving some centimeters of the paper on the sides for lifting the brownie.
  2. Place the butter in a bowl over simmering water and when it starts to melt add the chocolate, when it all melts, turn off the heat and let cool for 5 to 10 minutes. Stir the sugar into the mixture until well combined, then add the eggs one at the time, mixing well after each addition. Add the vanilla and finally add the flour mixture mixing gently.
  3. Place the mixture in the prepared pan and take to the oven for 20 to 30 minutes or until cake taster comes out with only some moist crumbs on it. Let cool and using the parchment paper on the sides lift the brownie, you can cut it in squares to serve.
