Chocolate cookies


This time I want to share this recipe for chocolate cookies, they are a nice change for the classical chocolate chips cookies. You can use almonds, nuts or chocolate chips for these cookies to give them an extra flavour. Hope you try them, have a nice easter wekend!


  • 1 cup chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cups flour
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F or 180 º C. Take a baking tray and line with parchment paper, set aside.
  2. Place the chocolate in a heatproof bowl and put over simmering water to melt with the butter. Stir until smooth and set aside to cool for about 5 minutes.
  3. Using an electric mixer beat the chocolate and butter mixture with the sugar for about 3 minutes. Add the eggs one at the time, then add the vanilla and mix well. Finally add the flour and the salt and mix until combined. Using two spoons place the batter in the baking tray and take to the oven for about 10 minutes, until the center of the cookies is still soft. Take to a wire rack to cool.


 Galletas de chocolate

Esta vez quiero compartir con ustedes esta receta para galletas de chocolate. son un cambio interesante de las clásicas galletas con chispas de chocolate. Pueden usar almendras, nueces o chipas de chocolate para estas galletas, y darles un toque interesante. Espero que las prueben, que tengan un buen fin de semana de pascuas!


  • 1 taza chocolate, cortado en trozos bien pequeños
  • 4 cdas manteca
  • ½ taza azúcar
  • 2 huevos
  • 1 cta extracto de vainilla
  • ½ cta sal
  • ¾ tazas harina
  1. Precalentar el horno a 350 grados F o 180ºC. Forrar una asadera con papel manteca, dejar a un lado.
  2. Colocar el chocolate en un bowl resistente al calor y colocar junto a la manteca sobre agua hirviendo, a baño maría, para que se derrita. Revolver hasta que esté uniforme, dejar a un lado para que enfríe por 5 minutos.
  3. Utilizando una batidora eléctrica batir la mezcla del chocolate y la Manteca con el azúcar por 3 minutos. Agregar los huevos de a uno, luego el extracto de vainilla y mezclar bien. Finalmente agregar la harina y la sal y mezclar hasta que esté bien uniforme. Usando dos cucharas colocar la mezcla en la  y llevar al horno por 10 minutos aproximadamente, hasta que el centro de las galletas esté todavía blando. Dejar enfriar en una rejilla.
